Hello and happy New Year to whoever is reading this. In regards to reading, I've started the year off well. I just recently finished reading Going Solo by Roald Dahl and have just started reading Twelfth Night by Shakespeare. Going Solo was Dahl's autobiography about his adventures in Africa and flying with the RAF in WWII. When he was 22, Dahl moved from England to modern day Tanzania to work for the Shell company. At the outbreak of WWII Dahl joined Britain's Royal Air Force(RAF) to fight in the Middle East and Northern Africa. He had to stop flying because of head injuries he had gotten earlier in the war. Overall, it was a very good book and showed a first hand account of the war in northern Africa and the Mediterranean area.

I also recently started reading Twelfth Night by Shakespeare. I am reading the Barron's edition which has a line-for-line translation of Shakespeare's words into modern ones. I'm only on the introduction so I haven't seen this yet. The play is about "hunting the heart." The comedy arises because the characters are not very skilled hunters. For most of the play, they can't quite track love down. It eludes their aim, but all the while it pursues them mercilessly." (Twelfth Night, Barron's Edition, 15). The play sounds very interesting and I can't wait to actually start it.
